You love it, pour your heart and soul into it and agonize over every small hiccup. Then you have a second, third or fourth child. You've learned so much from the first, that you are much more realistic, grounded and less stressed out over every little detail. By the time you have your last child, they could practically cut off a finger and you'd call it a scratch. You don't love them any less, you just know they'll live and know how to handle it better. I'm a first child of four, so believe me, I know. Man, what I had to go through that my younger siblings didn't! :)Debbiehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/14716842533070272638noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1163829887162955058.post-49328258265774855522012-01-04T14:57:33.670-08:002012-01-04T14:57:33.670-08:00Such wonderful, solid advice. (My fourth gives it some competition, though, so I guess the world won't end if things don't work out with the first book.)Kristin Laughtinhttp://kristinlaughtin.blogspot.comnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1163829887162955058.post-9089544289791377262012-01-04T06:22:29.851-08:002012-01-04T06:22:29.851-08:00Ah, Scott--a much-needed reality check :) Thanks ...Ah, Scott--a much-needed reality check :) Thanks for that!Guilie Castillohttps://www.blogger.com/profile/09006999087139126972noreply@blogger.com
