Any thoughts?? Thanks.Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1163829887162955058.post-3232257381684345962011-03-20T06:54:27.955-07:002011-03-20T06:54:27.955-07:00Happy Birthday Scott! You define women's fiction as something which should depict a female journey and remain focused on a single issue. But how can one describe a river without mentioning the gorge, the valley or the boulders it passes across... or the clouds and the streams which feed it... on its journey to the ocean..

A bit confused. However, what if that novel had been completely reworked- to the point that it is 110% different? My sassy domestic drama has been returned to single title status instead of being chopped into two.

No questions at the moment as your workshop answered many I didn't even know I had. :) Have an awesome trip.Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1163829887162955058.post-61799876359411529682011-03-17T10:21:39.090-07:002011-03-17T10:21:39.090-07:00Happy birthday, Scott. Since I began this process, my ms has taken an overhaul due to the constructive crit I received from agents. My problem is this. Do I approach the agents who have my old ms from 2-3 months ago and haven't got back to me yet? Or do I wait until they send me an R to resubmit. I know some agents like yourself are very approachable, but there are some that scares me....
What's your take on it? Thanks!S. A. Or maybe I just believed it coming straight from a professional who isn't afraid to tell it like it is. I'm changing my unmarketable mainstream novel into a single title contemporary.
