Re-post of Nathan Bransford - Literary Agent: Holiday Repeat: The No A**hole Rule

Nathan Bransford - Literary Agent: Holiday Repeat: The No A**hole Rule

Nathan is once again right on the money with this one. I do have to say, I have read great submissions from people or heard great stories but when it came down to the personalities, there is no way I would want to take that person on as a client.

One thing I think we often forget is that great slogan from Head and Shoulders. You never get a second chance to make a first impression. Hey, I don't care how good you are as a writer, if you are a jerk, or simply difficult to work with, then why would I want to waste my time on you? Sure, I might be turning down a ton of cash from the next Great American Novel, but I just don't think there is enough Pepto out there do deal with the ulcers I would be facing.

Keep it in mind and again, great post Nathan!
