2011 Alien Vampire Bunny Contest is Coming!!!

    Hi, quick question...why rtf format? I use Open Office instead of Microsoft Word. When manuscripts are saved in rtf on this program it mauls the formatting. Every time I save in rtf and send something out to an agent, I CC it to myself and I'm mortified to see that my formatting has changed and I look like an idiot. Any advice on this? And for the contest, would you accept a DOC format?

    Honestly, I think the issue is with Open Office. You can try to save it as a .doc and let's hope I can open it.

    As far as the .rtf format goes, we use this because it is compatable with so many different programs. In other words, regardless of what we are using, we can open it.
