Holidays, Editors and Agents, oh my!

It is that time of year to remind all of you authors that, although the email accounts may be open, and the websites may be up and running, because it is the holiday time, many of the editors and agents are going to take some breaks. 

Yes, I know that might seem to be a shock, but they too are human and are looking for a break. 

For this reason, you will find that response time will be much longer. I would strongly encourage you to consider holding off on that new submission until the first of the year. If you send it during those breaks, you will be in the pile of all the other emails from those who didn't read this. Essentially, you are now hanging out in the slush pile.
