I Know When You Are Using AI People

Clearly, in the world of ChatGPT and Query Letter writing, it seems to believe every writer's contemporary romance/women's fiction is similar to Colleen Hoover's "It Ends With Us." REALLY????? Come on people. If you are a writer, show me YOU can write and not AI

I would also add, when you are telling me things that I have never said, or generic phrasing that has shown up in the last 5 queries, it is a pretty dead giveaway.

Oh, and by the way, these tend to primarily come from writers who seem to think Query Manager is the way to go. These are also the writers who:

• Think any random genre is considered "category"
• Think they can click any genre and then use the bait and switch technique and tell me their story is something else.
• Tell me their novel was published by one of the "Big 5" when in reality was only self-published (I had 5 of those in the last 2 days)
• Submit the same story 3 times in a single day under different titles and different genres but with the same blurb.

Give me a break people. If you think you are trying to "game the system" all you are doing is getting more rejections.
