So, I ran a seminar today at the local community college and it constantly amazes me about how many people think publishing is easy.

They were completely shocked when you provide a timeline of how long it takes to get a book from the writers hands to the public's. Many kept asking about, but isn't there a short cut.
No matter how hard you try, some people just believe that there is an easy way.
Look, life is not easy. This is a general comment for everyone. Life isn't easy. Quit looking for the easy way out!
Gotta go. I have to go cook dinner (the kids requested Manicotti) and I have some record keeping to take care of as well.
By the way, the anniversary went great! We were both awake long enough to wish each other happy anniversary before we fell asleep and went on with our lives.
