A good reason for writing daily

So, I am proving the point to you.

Good writers need to write every day. Taking a break only makes it harder for a writer to get back into the swing of things, and I am the first to admit it.

I took a break (a well needed one I should add) but as you can see, getting back into the blogging thing has taken a lot of effort. Sure things are busy, but it is important to do something with your writing daily (which is something I did not do).

I will admit, I had good intentions. I did take time to clip a few articles out of the hotel supplied newspapers for future poetry I am working on. I did save a couple of poems on my portable recorder I carry with me, but I didn't write. Ugh.

So, now I am back, punishing myself and will attempt to get back into the swing of things.

As I tell my writers. There are NO EXCUSES.
