As writers, we need to begin each week with something positive to work with. This will set the tone for the entire week and really determine whether or not your work that week will be productive. We will always have good and bad weeks, and yes, we will always have good and bad days with our work. So what?!?!
Successful writers know how to take the positive and really channel that energy toward their writing. They also know how to look at the struggles they face with their writing and find a way to re-work it into a new direction.
Successful writers in this buisness also know how to not place blame on outside factors and their writing. Sure, we have to deal with real life in this business. Doctor appointments, extra hours and work and so forth always get in the way. But these do not become excuses for our success in the business. We learn to work with it.
This week, set a goal for yourself. What do you want to achieve this week. No, it doesn't have to be life changing, but it needs to be significant and attainable.
What are your goals for this week? What do you want to achieve?
Make a plan and make it happen.
