What Do You Do After A Rejection

Rejections are something that is just part of this business. We wish it would all go our way, and we wish everyone would love our story, but in the end, it doesn't work that way. Even agents face this. We love your story and we send it off with all of the best intentions, and then get those same rejections.

So what do you do? What is the next step?

You get back up, dust yourself off, assess the situation, and keep moving.

If the story didn't work out, look at the feedback you got, if you did get any? Are these things you can change? Are these things that can be incorporated into your next book? Maybe fixing this book is not the right approach, but starting from scratch is the better approach?

The key is to not quit. Find a way to move on.
